AJ Paglia did the artwork for Next Time Better. I first met AJ when I moved into the resident halls at Rhode Island College my freshman year in 2003. He lived in the room next to me, and we shared a lot in common with film. I asked him to make the poster for my film Next Time Better that I had just finished editing. I took pictures from the film, cut, and layered them on top of one another for an idea. The next day he gave me this painting.

When I scanned the picture I had to scan in two different places (the painting was too big). I then matched up the top and bottom of the painting and looked through hundreds of fonts for the film title. I then found a movie poster font for the credits. I put in AJ's signature and my composer, Nathanael Tronerud's, splash-logo.

In 2004, Next Time Better was chosen for the official selection for the Trigger Street Film Festival
