Hello everyone- Got all sorts of news for ya. Over the past few months I have made
two new short films! So go into the portfolio and check them out! One was made for
the 2007 Providence 48 hour Film Festival and the other was written and directed by
Mike Messier, shot and edited by yours truly. Both were fun projects and worth a watch!

I was hired to work on the new feature film The Women in September! It is presently in
post production, but I was able to get a hold of the teaser poster from it's IMDB. Check
that out in the gallery.

I also updated the links page. My friend Scott Trainor and I have decided to expand our
weekly comic. So please go check out SLAMPiG! I also added a few more links of friends,
so make sure to go check them out :)

Hey y'all. I fixed a few glitches that I was finding throughout the site, so hopefully things
are working a little better (my next step is to correct my grammar!).

I just put up my final project I did in my Experimental Filmmaking course called
Bah Humbug. Go watch and enjoy!

In other news: Behind the Music: Skittel won the Judge's Prize at the Ocean State Film Festival
held at Rhode Island College on April 19th! If you have never seen Skittel, you can check it
out here :)

Hey everyone! After four years, I have finally revamped my whole website. Please look around
with, literally, hours of entertainment. I now have full films avaiable to watch, an art gallery of
posters I've been involved with, radio interviews I was featured in, a list of links
with information... There's a lot!

Please look around and tell your friends, and enjoy!

7-24-06

Hey Everyone! Hope you're having a good summer. I'm in the middle of creating a new webpage set-up and
updating my information and getting my business packages in. All my films will be avaiable to watch
through the site and the links will be updated as well! :)

But my last project was a collaboration with Train Wreck Pictures (Michael Amend) and we created a film for the
Providence 48 Hour Film Festival. The film is called No Friend of Mine which we wrote, filmed, and edited
in 48 Hours. It was quite the experience, especially since I was the cinematographer and editor, and it was all up
to me to get the film handed in by the dealine, but everything ended up working out.
Check out the film at the Train Wreck MySpace at: http://myspace.com/twpictures

I will also be doing a radio interview for BSR 88.1 at 7PM for the show Spoiler Alert with Toni Pennacchia.
She will be interviewing Mike Messier and I about our experience in making the film, so listen!!! If you miss it,
I'll have the show up and ready on the Train Wreck MySpace.

Jesse Dufault (J Productions/Optic Studios) and I finally got together to finish up the trailer for Can't Live With 'Em,
Can't live Without 'Em
, so go check it out under gallery (along with AJ Paglia's new artwork for the film)

N.G.S. (Nice Guy Syndrome) is about 60% done! I've been getting great feedback on what I have done
so far-- It's been by far the most complicated and difficult film I've worked on- But it looks so good.
Look for the completed product in a month or two-

Hey everyone! Got a little Halloween treat for you... I began working on my new film N.G.S. (Nice Guy Syndrome)!
This is the flashback scene for the film, where the main character Kevin (in elementary school) remembers how he's had NGS since
he can remember. I used my first home video camera my parents got in the 80s (which I had to find and buy a whole
new battery for just for this 40 second scene) so I can get the 80s/early 90s feel for the recess scene. It will probably appear in a
small square between the widescreen bars when I am finished with the film so it doesn't loose the fullscreen intention. Hope you enjoy!

Read the college article that inspired me for the script.

Can't Live Them, Can't Live Without 'Em is now available on Trigger Steet! Check it out and give a review,
let me know what you think :) Be professional if you review, don't be like "Hey Tim!!! I know youuuu!!!"
Either look under new arrivals, or look for me under the username: akatimo
The trailer will be finished soon by Jesse Dufault and AJ is working on the artwork. Here's the draft:

5-26-05

An online television producer had his manager contact me from ManiaTV! He caught It Could be Worse on
Trigger Street and liked it, wanting it to be part of the show "Too Short for Hollywood" :) So I sent in
It Could Be Worse as well as Next Time Better-- Be sure to catch them soon on ManiaTV all week, along side with
shows like David Firth's Salad Fingers and Bob Cesca's Camp Chaos features, 10 PM and 2 AM eastern.
Just click onto the site and watch the station whenever you want!

I also just finished a script (Can't Live With 'Em, Can't Live Without 'Em) and will be finishing up another
one shortly. The two films are planned to be finished this summer, along with finishing the music for
Try Try Again. BUSY SUMMER!!! But exciting :)

3-31-05

I was involved in another project with Christian de Rezendes with a feature called They Walk Among Us. It's seriously
one of the best films I've ever seen. The writing, directing, cinematography, editing music...

3-10-05

Well... still long updates... Things have been so busy. Between my band and school there's just been
no time-- I'm working on getting Behind the Music: Skittel avaiable to go through this site, along with my other films. That
will be VERY soon, so check back within the next two weeks.

Try Try Again is still done editing in draft, Nate sent the music demos but we need to fix and tweak them up.
The only thing I was really able to get done this year so far is a music video for my band and the Northeastern
IIE Conference Intro video. Check them out if you want:

Years to Let Go by My Morning Radio

2005 Region 1 IIE Student Regional Conference Intro Film
( on the intro page)

And lastly, I did not make into the finalist for the 2004 TriggerStreet Film Festival. Oh well-- haha-- I'm not
disappointed- It was just a great experience for Next Time Better to be included in the selection, especially for a
film I wouldn't even think of making any selection of festivals. You can watch Next Time Better and a
condensed It Could Be Worse on TriggerStreet.com

10-28-04

Great news!
Try Try Again is complete with editing, so now it's up to Nate to finish up the music. Look for the release in mid-December!
Chack out the Try Try Again trailers as well made by Jesse Dufault, a.k.a Optic Studios (formerally known as J Productions).
There are two versions:

TTA Trailer 1
TTA Trailer 2

But even better news!!!

My film Next Time Better has become part of the official selection in Season 2 of the 2004
Trigger Street Online Film Festival!!! I am SOOOO stoked! I didn't even expect the film to make it being one of the
fifty chosen out of thousands of films! Check it out!!

9-6-04

Hey Everyone! Haven't updated in a while- but here's what's up:
I finished filming a new script in April/May called Try Try Again. Since my summer had been hectically busy
I wasn't able to touch it at all, except for the flashbacks (oooooh! flashbacks!).
I associated with Mike Messier this summer to help edit and film his short play Orlandis and his Puppets without
Strings
as well as a wedding job and my parent's 25th aniversary video.
I am currently editing Try Try Again. It's coming out a lot better than I expected :) I decided to hand over the
music to Nate. He wrote such great stuff for Next Time Better, and I'm sure he'll do a great job for the new film.
Waking Ashland gave me their permission to use their song "I Am For You (Don't Give Up)" for the end credit theme
for "TTA" and I am so stoked. Check them out on their purevolume site to hear the song!

I'll try to keep updated-- The next update will probably only be for the release of Try Try Again. As you see, this is the
latest update from March-- haha

P.S.!!! I will try to complete two more film this semester. I am working on "The Real World: RIC", and will hopefully
start "N.G.S. (Nice Guy Syndrome)" soon after that. The three new short films will all be part of the program at
the second Stand Still Pictures Screening in January. Wish me luck!

The 'Getting Out Of Rhode Island' DVD has been released. It is an independant film released by a freind
of mine, Christian de Rezendes, and has won awards and selections at festivals all over the US. I was lucky
to be asked to be part of the special features in a segment 'One Year, Seven Months and Twenty-four Days Later'
where I was the production assistant and a whole bunch of the cast came to talk about their experience with the film.
Here's the orderform to order the movie released by Film Threat and to find out more info about the film, go
under the links section of this site.

I am in the process of finishing a script to start filming in late-March and hopefully finish for April 25th to premiere

You'll be exposed to so many short films and it's all absolutely free.Or look under 'New Arrivals' on the intro
screen or search for the titles either under their engine or alphabetically, or even my username: akatimo.
