My junior year at RIC I was offered an internship possibility my Spring semester in Newport, RI. The Preservation Society of Newport County can not install elevators in their structures and mansions, for it would destory the historical value of the homes. So this is where I came in... I was to create a tour video that would be available to the handicap who couldn't enter the mansions. They would be able to watch this film, which would be the same average length of a tour. They put me on Chateau-sur-Mer which was almost completely under contruction... I couldn't even finish the film because of the contruction not being finished at the end of the semester. I couldn't even film the outside of the mansion becasue it was covered in scaffolding; I had to use a postcard. But considering for what I had to work eith, everything turned out OK and I revieved a Film Talent Award for the project.
