For my project in Filmmaking Workshop II my Sophomore year at RIC I had to create a found footage film. It was supposed to let us use found footage in order to explain something about ourselves. I just decided to go through $1 bins at Dollar Tree, Target Wal-Mart, etc... and take out the racism, violence, and women oppression through the footage. It's very interesting what I found... But I strictly stayed within the $1 DVDs and only used footage from there.
