When I was thinking about music for Try Try Again I had just heard this band called Waking Ashland. Brian Joyce told me about them, where I heard "I Am For You (Don't Give Up)" and it was perfect for the film's theme. I contacted Jonathan, the lead singer, asking for his permission and he gave me tho go ahead. Soon, Waking Ashland was signed onto a label and I was hearing "I Am For You" over the speakers in Best Buy and on the radio. It's exciting to know how I got to find them before they made it big, and having them let me use their song.
